In my spare time I love to look for local accommodations that are rustic, unique, and affordable. Because it can be time consuming combing through to find the good ones, we are sharing one of our Airbnb bucket lists. These are all located in the Okanagan area. They are the perfect places to go when we only have a night or two, or don’t want to go too far.
1.) Any of these Crosslam Cabins – are completely off the grid and made from reclaimed materials!! – they would also make the perfect getaway when we need to lift our eyes off of our phones and on to some stunning scenery. Location: Penticton
2.) Honestly, we just want to stay at this neat dome just so we can pretend we are hobbits for the day. Location: Armstrong
3.) Saving this Rustic Log Cabin on the KVR Trail for when we feel the need to disappear into the woods for a few days. Location: Kelowna
4.) HOW COOL IS THIS PLACE?! We have been dreaming of staying at the Tin Poppy for awhile now. We are planning to stay here really soon so we can snowshoe by day and sauna by night!Location: Salmon Arm
5.) If we are going to go glamping, we wouldn’t mind doing it in this Tipi. Location: Vernon
6.) Rustic 100 year old wilderness cabin, sign us up! Location: Chase
**UPDATE:
We have now stayed at 2/6 of these accommodations.
